History

We are Luca Hodgkinson and Sebastian San Martin. We have both traveled for a little over 20 years through the World of Wine, nourishing us with people and academic and work spaces rich in tradition, history and knowledge. We are working in the southern hemisphere between Chile and Argentina and that coming and going through the Andes, just like the hand invisible nature that is carving the landscape, discovering a harmony in the way of conceiving the work of the land and of the human. So spontaneously it was Buena Vida being born, a project that grows from the terroir, from our curiosity of restless children and always amazed by the mysteries of the soil and the subtle and complex web of interactions that arises from that magical dance that occurs between a floor coming from a unique geological history and in which an infinity of beings coexist that give life, the microclimate that houses that space and the hand of man that intervenes in the natural landscape to give it meaning and purpose. The wine born from that unique experience and vital that is the terroir and to that search we have dedicated a good part of our lives.
