
Our Team
We are Luca Hodgkinson and
Sebastian San Martin. We have both traveled for a little over 20 years through the World of Wine, nourishing us with people and academic and work spaces rich in tradition, history and knowledge.

Luca Hodgkinson
Luca Hodgkinson’s passion for winemaking stems from his upbringing in the Priorat region of Spain, a place renowned for its exceptional wines. As a child, he was fascinated by the intricate and complex process of creating the perfect bottle of wine. With a multicultural European family background, Luca’s curiosity and drive led him to pursue his formal education in Oenology at ENSAT in Toulouse, ultimately earning a Masters of Science in Environment and Viticulture at the
University of Bordeaux.
After several years of honing his skills in winemaking
all over Europe, including France, Italy, and Spain, Luca was presented with an excellent opportunity to work as a technical manager for Francois Lurton’s Chilean estate. It was here that his talent truly shone as he successful converted the estate to organic and
biodynamic viticulture. In a few short years, he was
given the responsibility of managing the estate’s
Argentinian project, which he led to equal success.
After taking a Sabatical world tour, Luca and another
experienced oenologist established their
own high-end, low-intervention wine consulting company, Wildmakers. The company quickly grew, and they began to produce their own wines as of 2014. In addition to his work with Wildmakers, Luca also carries out his family project in the Priorat, Hodgkinson-Mas del Habanero, to great success.
Unsatisfied with his past accomplishments, Luca continues to grow his expertise with every year, having begun the production of Buena Vida wines, a series of products from Chile and Argentina that will be certified both organic and Carbon Neutral. Bearing witness to over 20 years of winemaking experience in both hemispheres, he remains dedicated to low-intervention winemaking and organic viticulture. Luca’s unwavering passion for his craft is evident
in every vineyard that he cultivates, and in every bottle of wine he produces.

Sebastian San Martin
Sebastian San Martin is an accomplished winemaker with a wealth of global experience under his belt. Having established several wine projects from the ground up, Sebastian is a true expert in his field and brings a formidable set of skills to the table. Widely recognized for his exceptional palate and blending talents, he has consulted for boutique wineries and has played a pivotal role in the success of various wine brands in differing markets.
It’s worth noting that Sebastian’s experience working alongside some of the industry’s most respected Winemaking consultants, such as Michel Rolland and Pascal Chatonnet, has provided him with a unique insight into the craft of winemaking. This has allowed him to excel in his profession, earning him a reputation for delivering high-quality and perfectly balanced wines.
Throughout his career, Sebastian has developed an extensive network of local suppliers and distributors in both Chile and Argentina. This fluency in these local markets, coupled with his commercial nous, have served him well in his endeavours to establish new wine brands.
In addition to his expertise as a winemaker, Sebastian is also a staunch advocate for organic and sustainable viticulture. He firmly believes in the importance of reserving the natural balance of ecosystems in order to produce wines with unique characteristics and a genuine sense of terroir.
